Who We Are & Our Mission
Newark Roofing Connection was created to solve a common problem faced by Delaware homeowners: when a roof leak strikes or an aging roof begins dropping granules, finding an established, responsive, and licensed local roofer is unnecessarily stressful.
National directory portals often sell a homeowner's contact information to four or five different companies simultaneously, resulting in bombarded phones and aggressive sales tactics. Other online searches return out-of-state storm-chasing operations with no local roots or long-term accountability in Delaware.
We operate as an independent, transparent educational resource and direct referral network. Our mission is two-fold:
- Educate Homeowners: We publish detailed, objective guides explaining how residential roof systems function, how to recognize flashing failures and ice damming, and what critical questions to ask contractors before signing an estimate.
- Coordinate Qualified Inquiries: When a homeowner requests an estimate through our website, their inquiry is routed directly to a participating, licensed Delaware roofing contractor servicing New Castle County.
Our Strict Partner Verification Standards
We do not partner with unverified subcontractors or fly-by-night operators. Participating roofing contractors must meet established professional requirements:
- Delaware State Business Licensing: Possession of a current Delaware State Business License.
- New Castle County Registration: Valid contractor registration with the New Castle County Department of Land Use.
- Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Verification of an active Certificate of Insurance with at least $1,000,000 in Commercial General Liability and full statutory Workers' Compensation coverage.
- Written Scope of Work: A commitment to provide transparent, itemized written proposals breaking down material grades, labor, permits, and workmanship warranties.
Transparent Business Model Disclosure
In the spirit of complete consumer transparency: Newark Roofing Connection is an independent online publisher and referral coordinator. We are not a licensed roofing contractor and do not employ roofing crews directly.
We sustain our educational guides and web hosting operations by receiving referral fees or fixed sponsorship arrangements from participating local roofing contractors who agree to service homeowner estimate inquiries. This service is 100% free for homeowners, and submitting an estimate request places you under no obligation to hire any suggested contractor.
